Re: New Racoon Mom

If they ever get sick you won't be able to get them medical attention. Don't be selfish and keep them when you don't have the means to care for them.

I still feed my dogs Taste of the Wild. Haven't had any recent recalls to my knowledge.

Re: Emo

Thank you! She's going to be 13 years old this year.

I guess to follow up on my post from 2015, that skin issue is just seborrhea. If my mother manages to keep her brushed it doesn't get as bad as it did when I made that post. I was just up to visit them on Saturday and Emo is doing just fine.

If you hold his mouth shut, he'll eventually have no choice but to swallow.

Re: Trying to Pee

How big are they? I take it if they'll fit down a rat's throat they'd fit down his. Can you try holding him and pushing it down his throat? Though I'm guessing maybe a fox would be more prone to vomiting a pill up, than a dog or cat would... If it's an antibiotic, maybe ask if they can make it into ...

Conte is still his little rambunctious self. He needs a haircut soon once it gets warmer out, but otherwise healthy and happy as can be!

Re: UGH - Smooshed faced chihuahuas

Just because a dog is a mixed-breed doesn't automatically make it "healthier" than any purebred dog ever. That's fine if you don't care for owning them but not every single purebred dog is going to have health problems. My mother's 13 year old Schnoodle has intervertebral disc disease. Did...

I know people use them to fight and therefore gamble in some countries. Maybe that's why. Though, this is a native species to North America.

"Main Coon Imported Father"

If they can't even spell Maine Coon correctly I wouldn't be giving them 5 grand for anything. There haven't been any confirmed breedings of neither bobcats nor lynx to a domestic cat, so I wouldn't believe anyone claiming they had kittens.

Re: How to mark an insect?

I think beekeepers mark their queens with nail polish. Bees don't shed though lol. Do your roaches have wings? Maybe you could mark the wing part; I don't think wings get shed with exoskeletons.

Re: I might get another fox and question

If Emo wasn't getting so old I'd offer to bring her and let her go on a rat hunt... She loves killing them. Rats are probably too big for your foxes and cats to want to go after. They can get very large, and they can bite hard and deep enough to cause nerve damage depending on where they bite (even ...
