vaccinations

Anybody know which vaccines you give to coydogs or coyotes? How does that compare to foxes? Wondering which illnesses they can get.

Enrichment :-)

Thought I might share this here, in case anybody would like some ideas for enrichment, or educates/advocates for companion wolfdogs, coydogs, dingo breeds, etc. :-)

Re: New Guinea Singing dogs (Canis lupus dingo)

Most of what passes for "Carolina dogs" now are actually just shepherd/lab or shepherd/pit mutts that people pull from shelters :-/ but yes, if you leave dogs alone in the "wild" long enough, they turn back into a pariah type. :-) Does Brevard zoo have the Aussie dingos now, too?...

Re: New Guinea Singing dogs (Canis lupus dingo)

Their designation keeps changing; that's why it's so complicated. Their DNA breakdown is extremely close to the Aussie dingo, so they're currently classified the same (unless it just recently changed *again*). Re: some wolfdogs available for adoption

Thanks. I applied over at the other site & will post there too when I'm approved. :) The one that looks really husky, oddly enough, doesn't have any significant husky in her. The mom was an F1 mal mix & the dad was a mostly-mal. Weird, huh? (I saw the F1's parents and she is definitely an F1...

Hi Caninesrock, This is the animal I'm referring to. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Guinea_Singing_Dog" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Not sure which Asian animal you're thinking of. NGSD are fom New Guinea. They have just recently been distinguished from the Aussie dingo via DNA, b...

New Guinea Singing dogs (NG dingo)

Just thought I would let folks know that there are some New Guinea Singing dogs (small version of the Aussie Dingo) available in rescue right now. There are two bonded pairs, a lone female, and some older pups...varying degrees of sociability; all will require secure fencing and an understanding of ...
