Gorgeous photos. I loved your little comments too, they gave the animals personalities in my head.

Re: Considering a Tiger Reticulated Python....

She is big but I must admit, I'm having trouble seeing the difference between her and the dwarf in the picture above. I'm not very good at judging comparative size when the two aren't right beside each other. How big would a mainland be in relation to a dwarf? 2x? 1.5x?

Re: Considering a Tiger Reticulated Python....

Holy mackerel! When you said the pic was going to be of a 'dwarf' snake, I did not expect such a huge snake! Now I have to google reticulated pythons to find out how big they truly are haha

Re: Should I use sand or not for my Bearded Dragons tank?

^ That's really interesting. I don't have a beardie but I always find it neat to hear about innovations like this. I see on the website that you can get a 20 lb bag for 18$ Would that be too pricey for the amount for beardie owners? If so, you could maybe find a cheaper supply of wheat bran at an an...

Re: Crap... not another one

I wonder if things in Canada are different? I'm pretty sure I've heard that our copyright laws are different from the US. Anyway, I wouldn't really say it's an issue because the clips weren't being used to discredit exotic animal owners and actually seemed to help shine a more positive light on them...

Re: Adorable Paca

TG, When I was looking at the site, a couple ads below that one, there was another by the same people with a group of pacas so I'm wondering if it will be a common thing for them to have pacas. Maybe you could email them?

Re: Crap... not another one

Yeah, it was near the start of the documentary where they were talking about how many people kept exotic pets and they ran through several clips. Hmm, interesting, because I'm pretty sure I recognized several clips from youtube in the doc.

But in reality, I'm afraid it would be a bit too Hitler-ish. :/ The Hitler-ish approach to reducing population would be to round people up and kill them. Regulations on births shouldn't be oppressive if people can consider the practicality instead of clinging to the principle. And anybody who wants...

Re: Crap... not another one

Hey guys, I watched this when it was aired. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it's going to be available outside the US until somebody gets it onto youtube, which kind of sucks considering there are people outside of Canada who are in the doc. Anyway, the footage with owners and animals were all g...

Re: Trying to unify pet owners to save our animals. Please h

To be honest, I don't really agree with the whole 'having kids is a right' just because I think the overpopulation of the world is a major problem that is behind a lot of other issues. For instance, the intensive farming practices that lead to poor animal welfare are often justified by the fact that...
