Re: A little bit of self-conflict...

foxman, glad to hear you will wait for breeding them. I am confused though, is it the artics that are allowed in your state and not the reds? if you decide on an artic, it would be nice if you could have a room off the pen with air condition in it. maybe a fan in the pen  As far as I am awar...

Re: A little bit of self-conflict...

Thanks for the useful information! Pat, I do not plan on breeding foxes anytime soon. Maybe after 5+ years of fox ownership may I even consider getting a second kit. I want an arctic, but I fear with hot Oklahoma summers that they may not flourish here. I fear for one's health. Grey foxes, however, ...

Re: Livecam of vixen and kits

Really cool shot of the kits nursing at the moment. It's a interesting idea to get this perspective of a fox in its natural habitat.

A little bit of self-conflict...

So I have talked to my parents about fox ownership, and surprisingly, they're on board! (They have known that I have wanted one ever since the 7th grade) I've waited for over 5 years and now everything is coming to fruition. I will be turning 18 in a little less than a month, so I am contacting the ...

Outdoor Enclosure.. plus more!

Hey guys I am back! I don't know if anyone remembers me, after all it has been awhile since my last log. But now I am back, and am off to college in a few short months. Since I am finally of age and now have the resources and time to spend on a fox kit, I have decided to start preparing to get one. ...

Re: RED FOX (all color variations),GREY FOX, SWIFT FOX,& FEN

Mandy how much would shipping be from Ohio to Oklahoma? That's the determining factor from who I get a kit from right now(shipping).

Layla??

What ever happened to Layla, from Van Buren, ARKANSAS? I understand that she was without internet access, but didn't she get on not too long ago? She was my only hope of getting a fox soon.... Anyone know of anything?

Re: how do you get a fox from a fur farm?

I don't know what the legal definition of murder is, but I believe you can murder an animal. They have thoughts and feelings, no different than a human. And if the whole world became vegan, then that'd be great, but it's never going to happen, so at least the cows' and chickens' deaths aren't in va...

Re: are turkeys realy this dumb or is it just mine? lol

My tom turkey will sometimes roost on the fence itself. He can fly just fine, and the only other time he does fly is when he attacks, but my female turkey is like a spanish grey or something of that sort, and she is way too fat to fly.
