Re: Sometimes I just don't get it

Chloe doesn't like raw poultry. She Knows she doesn't like raw poultry, if I offer it to her she gets an insulted look and walks away. So.....why does she always steal it off the stove when I'm cooking it for her & Scooter? I find one peice on the stove and the other on the floor where Scooter ...

Re: BOBCATS. To declaw or not to declaw, that is the question

I agree with Peacefulward . not a good idea to declaw a bobcat. a friend of mine had a bobcat, he raised it with a munjac deer. both were sweet as can be. most exotics behavior depends on how they were raised. of course there are some exceptions. like tigers and some large exotics. tigers and larger...

Re: Deffinition of Emotional Support Animals will be changed

I see so many people trying to get around primate bans by getting their pet capuchins and lemurs registered as an esa, just so they can bring them into stores and restaurants. I'm glad it's getting tightened up, it's a ticking time bomb. I really wish some of these people would use common sense. th...

Re: Getting a fox

please make sure you understand a foxes behavior before you get one. for discipline, all I did was was lightly smack them on the nose and tell them "no bite" (which they did not do often) since I know how to handle foxes, if the smack did not work, I would grab his canine and tell him &quo...

Re: Need A Companion

the bigger you can make the enclosure, the better. what I did was buy a 10x10 dog kennel. I put it against the house, were it made a 10x20 enclosure. mine also has a tower and a big shelve. logs around enclosure to walk on. (don't have a picture of the logs yet) when doing an enclosure, it is a must...

Re: Need A Companion

only my opinion. if you don't get a second raccoon, I would go with the fox. they can become really good buddies. my 1st fox and raccoon became buddies, and were very bonded. however with a fox, you really need an outdoor enclosure. you can let the fox in the house, but not 24/7. foxes will mark,. a...
