Re: Raccoon with fleas

I would assume they will eat the fleas  I put coconut oil on my dogs and raccoons. for some odd reason, none of my animals have had fleas...

Re: Raccoon momma with a question

forgot to add, you can also feed her grain free small kibble dog food, along with the foods I mentioned. you can alternate the food if you want. I use "taste of the wild", but, you can get what your preference is. actually, I have a "yuppie puppy" machine. I put the kibble in tha...

Re: How to prepare for a fox (or any exotic)

wow, who would have thought a fox can move something that heavy. I use chain link on the bottom of mine, also have the bottom chainlink attached to 1/4 of the sides. but I make sure I pile a bunch of straw on top it. I check the chainlink everyday to make sure everything is still OK. however, I also...

Re: My baby became a wild raccoon

raccoons usually like to have a buddy. so it would be a good idea to keep the 2nd one.

do you have dogs? most raccoons like dogs also. most will play with a dog. at least mine always do
I lost track of how any raccoons I have raised.

Re: My baby became a wild raccoon

spaying might help at that age, however, it might take a while for her mood to change at that age. she should have been spayed when she was younger. usually, aggresstion with an intact raccoon, will usually start around december, however, that don't always stand true. I also think female raccoons ar...

how old was he was you weaned him? you could try giving him a bowl of ice cubes with a few mini marshmallow, and very litter syrup. when He starts to nibble on you. how long has it been since he was weaned and at what age? nibbling is sure better than biting. icon-smile I don't recall mine ever doin...

I never thought of snap peas. I personallly like them. (I am not big on veggies)

do you put anything over the snap peas? do you cut them at all?
I will give a few to my raccoons and see if they eat them.

Re: Where can I get a male raccoon fixed.

Joeis Mom welcome to sybils message board. We are here to help and learn. Raccoons are so darn cute and lovable (if raised properly), sounds like you are doing a good job with him. the neuter for your raccoon is going to be hard to find a vet that will do that. icon-sad I agree with Ash, it will be ...
