Re: Our new baby diva

Very pretty grey fox. I knew some at sulphur creek, and they were all very hyper (especially when it came to food.) You must have your hands full.

Re: Alaska

I'm currently not a resident, but Matty has a lot of family there and it's a beautiful place. I guess I was kind of hoping since it's not a densely populated area they would be a lot more lenient with their exotics laws.

Pet birds

I've never owned a bird before, of any kind. I've owned Arachnids, other bugs, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians... so now I'm highly interested in trying a bird as a pet. I'm not going to get one for a while, and I've plenty of time for research. If anyone has any suggestions on a good beginner spe...

Re: fur farming

I agree with the argument that farming an using animals can be okay if the conditions are right. However, no matter how much people blind themselves the fact is when in large industries they are NOT. These people want to make money, and they need to make a lot of product. The animals are not allowed...

Re: All My (Furry) Children [Image Heavy!]

Very cute pics. It's funny, the best rat I ever had was supposed to be a feeder. I got him out of a box full of rats, and I decided to take him home and give him a better life. He's getting to be an old man now, but he's always ayed next to me while I watch TV and let me pet him. Very pretty dog and...

I just can't see why they have to make you put them down. It's cruel for both the human and the animal. My thoughts are with you, I just can't stop thinking about it really, poor thing.

Re: RIP Loxy

I'm very sorry, I'm sure she enjoyed her life with you. It's hard to let an animal that near to you go.

Re: Any advice, please?? Sickly rats

Took them both to the vet... turned out my Claire had a tumor in her uterus... there was not much I could do other than let her go... I knew she was suffering. I've been having a hard time losing the youngest of my rats. One of the reasons why I haven't been very active here for the past couple of d...

Re: Just looking to learn more!

Just my opinion.... I do not eat meat, though I see that it is necessary for most, therefore (thought I HATE their methods) don't condone raising animals for food. I hate to sound like Ms. PETA (I hate PETA, I think they kill more animals than they do any good for) but.. humans don't NEED fur, and f...

Any advice, please?? Sickly rats

Okay, so I posted on the other board first (I post on this and one other)... no one replied. I'm really very dissapointed, I hope someone here can be a little more helpful. I've been pretty sick this past week. My boyfriend has been helping me out a lot, and he noticed something wrong with two of my...

Re: new baby

Congratulations on helping the fox. I imagine he might be a bit harder to care for since he was taken from the wild.

I don't know much about the laws there, hopefully someone can help you soon, but I was curious. Are you keeping him as a pet now or are you eventually going to release him?
