Re: Operation Stripey-face.

Thanks for the info, I'm still working on getting out of KY but they seem to have lots of mustelidae. I will definitely find out more information for future planning. :D

The Bath School disaster was done by a member of the school board, it sort of makes it hard to imagine preventives when it could be a member of the school itself (and this was in 1927 before all the gun controls). I've heard a lot of ...

Re: Tayra

Sadly at the moment I'm just not ready to grab one. I'm neck deep in house renovations, so until those are done no exotics for me. I'm definitely going to have to keep an eye out though, Tayra are still super high on my list :D

Re: Anyone ever owned a Praying Mantis?

I used to keep some mantis with my orchids, to make sure no bugs came a munching on my precious plants. They are wonderful insects to be honest, I've really enjoyed keeping them.

Re: Moths!

For the eggs, with butterflies anyway, we always used the paper bag method. Super easy to move from there. What host plant do you prefer to use? I've heard Lunas really love lavender :D I'm excited to work toward Lunas next season (once I finish getting my house all painted). Also, I would love to s...

Re: Moths!

The big botanical garden I went to all the time did butterfly birthings every year. Even an atlas moth last time. My guess is you can easily get them shipped as eggs, but you have to make sure you have the particular host plant they like to feed them. I know some (very few) butterflies have a false ...

Re: opinions please?

I agree, you need to get out of this situation. Not just for Rodney, but for yourself too. Abusive situations are hard, and really rough on you emotionally, but trust me there is lots and lots of groups out there to help you with this. You don't have to do it all alone, you just have to take the fir...

Coming back here to post some amendments to my list: STILL WANT A BADGER But there have been other changes.
