What are your favorite reptiles?

I noticed nobody has posted on here in a little while so I decided to :) So what are your favorites? My top three would be a blue tree monitor, crocodile monitor, and eastern green mambas. What are your top 3-5?

Re: Pet birds

I would suggest a cockatiel. I own one (Charlie) and he's the nicest and cutest thing ever! He snuggles on my neck and just adores me. I think they are the best starter bird ever! Lovebirds are a good start but they tend to be a one person bird. My friend owns one and it attacks anybody other than h...

Re: Venomoid- good or bad?

I live in Michigan and I'm surprised we don't need a permit to breath. Unfortunately for me, venomous/venomoids are strictly prohibited. We aren't allowed to keep venomous or big cats, which of course are two things I would LOVE to have. Also, I'm still to young to own hots even if it was legal. Eve...

Re: Venomoid- good or bad?

I feel like this entire argument depends on the keeper. I personally, would handle a venomoid as if it were a hot. Even when I catch local garter snakes I try to handle them as if they were venomous to get practice for when I'm older (I'm only 16). I plan on working wih and keeping venomous snakes o...

Venomoid- good or bad?

I apologize in advance for the argument this may start ;) I've been doing a lot of research on venomoids. I wanted to hear from some other people about their thoughts. I think that venomoids are acceptable as long as the procedure is done professionally. If the proper medicine and veterinary care is...

Re: Retics

I've never heard of the bobble happening with just certain genes. That's very interesting. I think raising your own food would be the best way to go too. Like I said killing the snake would be the absolute last resort. I would try everything in my power to get it off first but should it ce down to i...

Re: Retics

A 8x4x4 is an ok size for a retic. This is bare minimum and the snake should be allowed to come out for excersise. Havin a snake this large is nothing to be taken lightly. My theory is if the the snake is over 13 feet 3 people should be in the room if it is outside of its enclosure. If its 8-13 feet...

Re: What's it like keeping a bobcat?

Ok, so it u keep a Bob inside where does he go at night? Do you put him in a crate? Also, what's their tolerance for being in an outdoor enclosure (like temperature wise, do they do ok in the cold and in the heat?) also, if you don't mind me asking, what is the Price of keeping and buying a bob? You...

Re: What's it like keeping a bobcat?

Trust me, I'm not looking for a unusual domestic lol. I love anything wild and potentially dNgerous :) they sound cool! All of the negatives that you've pointed out would be a ported by me :) I'm for sure not going to get one but maybe in the future. I have so many questions but I won't bug you anym...
