Re: Taj pictures :) and an update

... I don't know what came over him, my hubby is usually really even-tempered and accepting. He doesn't have the bond with Taj that I have, but I think that's because I'm the main caretaker for all the animals. Does anyone have any suggestions? Right now my handsome little monster is laying on his ...

Re: Inari and Kitsune

I think I read in another thread mentioning fennecs are bad in parenting in a captive environment. But in your case they are actually showing some kind of social corporation together looking after the kids. You must be providing them a very lovely and homy environment, they feel so comfortable and j...

Re: Inari and Kitsune

The fennecs have an odd thing going on. Inari is with Barbie. Kitsune is not with Gruffalo but she does like him more then she likes Inari. The four of them are working like a team to raise the kits. Barbie really has no need to leave them as Inari brings her food, Kitsune guards her as does Gruffa...

Re: What trouble has AR activists given you?

Well, I am in Canada, and never heard of PETA before visiting this forum. So I "kind of know" it is a AR group, but this http://www.petakillsanimals.com/, give me trouble ... in my head

Re: A Skunk being sold at a pet store in Florida?!

I guess it depends on the store. At least stores that sell exotic mammals have to be USDA licensed but I don't think it makes a big difference just that they need to care for the animals decently. In CA I did the training classes at pet's mart. The lady was a professional trainer that also did thin...

Re: A Skunk being sold at a pet store in Florida?!

@sarajeku That is "conflict of interest". Your better solution for both pet owner and the pet, is bad for the company. The right and wrong really depends on which side you are on. I work in IT field and saw too many situation like this. Some IT company will use "bandage" solution...

Re: Fox and coldness

I don't know how much different between red fox(in the wild) in US and in Canada.

Canada winter can have heavy snow and very cold, subzero temperature in most part of Canada. Red fox in Canada adapt to that and they hunt in winter too.

Re: A Skunk being sold at a pet store in Florida?!

The problem is all main stream marketing is about impulse buying with the least information possible. I met a few business owners in various industries in the past. Their philosophy is exactly that. Close a sales as fast as possible. Give out as little information as possible. Never educate the cust...
