Re: What to eat

Nope, they just loved snap peas plain, and with how picky they were I was grateful to find a veggie they would happily eat lol. They did rip them up and only usually ate the pea inside, but they loved them

Re: Fox or dog

Foxes don't fully litter train in most cases and will make the entire place smell strongly of skunk odor, and can be extremely destructive... mine have destroyed the couch, walls, floor, clothes etc. In most cases I'd never recommend a fox in an apartment, but ive seen rare cases where it's worked, ...

Re: 3 week baby has a swollen foot and ankle.

The only brand of milk that didn't have ness really stuck as baby was raccoon formula from fox valley nutrition. It also has probiotics in it that help with pooping

Re: Fox owners in KY, TN, AL, GA?

That's a tough one as it is illegal to own foxes in tn unless they've came from a licensed breeder...I don't know of any rehabbers that takes foxes, but that doesn't mean they don't exist, I can ask around, but unless it goes to a licensed rehabber it can't recieve vet care or be kept legally

Re: One or two?

It'll definitely have an effect on bonding if you get more than 1 in one year. That being said, they do enjoy playing with another fox occasionally, and mine cuddle with one another some too, so I'd get one first and spend as much time as you can bonding, then a year or so later look into adding ano...

My raccoons will do the same thing... they'll run up and steal something they don't even want, just to be silly monsters

Re: Nessie got a brother!!

Yes it is ash, but we're loving every second. The raccoons have found a way to wiggle into my hubbys heart and I'm so glad for that... hubby doesn't mess with my foxes ate all really unless I need help so it is awesome to finally have what I'd consider as a family pet, and the fact that my house is ...

Re: Nessie got a brother!!

He's so super amazing, every one of my rescue/ rehome babies have been the biggest blessings... I'm always so nervous bringing one home that has bonded with someone else or been through allot, but they always surprise me. I am head over heels with all 6 of my babies, foxes and raccoons, and I'm so t...

Re: Nessie got a brother!!

So far, the only major thing I've noticed is he isn't as clingy to us as Ness is, but he's more outgoing and friendly towards strangers than Ness. He's also 5mo younger so I'm sure that plays a part. He's a bit better with a harness too so we're trying to keep up all the work she put into him with t...

Nessie got a brother!!

So i don't post often, but figured I should introduce my newest baby :) we've named him D'Artagnan and he's 5mo old. Ness is thrilled with her little brother and so are we. He was a rehome that I was contacted about and my first rehome raccoon. I've taken in 2 rehome foxes last yr, and couldn't be h...
