At Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary, a fox named Romeo cries after his favorite caretaker returns after a week-long absence. Very sweet.

Re: A bit of a PETA rant.

Ingrid Newkirk was quoted saying "Our goal is TOTAL animal liberation". I think Penn and Teller (whether you like them or hate them) put it best with their analysis of PETA's philosophy: "In just a month after animals were released, they would be back in animal prison for trespassing,...

Re: I got to meet my first Fox!!!

I remember how exciting it was for me when I met Basil and the gang at Wolf Park back in '02. Tame foxes are always such a delight to be around.

Someday I would like to venture out to Utah and visit that place, whenever I have the opportunity.

Re: Save Vader

What happened was truly shocking and reprehensible; for that fox to be put down after one year. I can't even imagine how much pain and heartbreak the owner is feeling right now. icon-sad My heart goes out to Vader's family. On the other topic, it's been stated that rabies vaccines for ferrets have a...

Re: to eat meat or not?

Being from Kansas City (a BBQ haven), meat is hard for me to get away from. I love to eat meat, but I don't overindulge. Most of my favorite dishes contain meat of some kind. As far as exotic meats go, I've only tried bites of venison, rattlesnake (while in Arizona), and quail (which I actually thou...
