Re: Seizures

Yes a good chance it was genetic. This is becoming more and more common in red/silver as well a arctics foxes due to indiscriminate breeding.

Re: HELLO! I need help!

The best way if you know where he's hanging out is to place a leg hold trap(padded kind) they usually are too smart to go into live traps and can be too scared to come even to their owners. You will want to camp out watching the trap though to prevent injury from trying to free himself.

Oh someone on my friends list has Oriental cuscus and has had some success breeding them this year but he has it a friends only post so that's all I can say. There may be some hope in their becoming more available if success continues.

Re: I might get another fox and question

They are probably nesting in the house at this point. A new fox wont be enough even if it does hunt them but there's no guarantee it will. Ideally you would have to find and block off all access points then kill all that are in the home. For a heavy infestation fumigation is probably best. You and t...

Re: Raccoon UTI?

I had this problem with my dog Hyzzie. The one vet described it as an entrapped vulva. It was lower than it was supposed to be and surrounded by extra belly skin keeping it wet. Surgery to remove the extra skin and pull it into place was an option but not necessary long as we prevented infection. Ha...

Re: pictures of enclosure

Oh, "Oriented strand board" or how I call it "Something that can't survive a coati in a long term" sorry, don't know what you mean. Maybe just commenting on how easily that type of board comes apart especially if it gets wet but if it holds up to your guys then it's fine. He's j...

I like the logs. The anteaters would like that, if in warmer weather.

Re: Foxes Wanted (UK) for 2018

Saw it mentioned that Dave Charlton in Rochdale had fennecs before but I googled him and seems he's a pet store so you'd be getting a brokered fennec rather than direct from a breeder.

Re: Beaker

Sorry for late reply.

He has the instinct kibble and then he gets some meat and organs or some of the nature's variety frozen food.

I just had some canned oysters and Beaker was begging so gave him a piece. H spit it out and rolled on it.

Re: Breeders from 80s and 90s?

You may be better asking in the wolf forum but that's practically ancient history since the internet was in the early stages to not really existent yet and even if someone did have the info the breeders may well be retired or even dead and if alive and retired not want people still contacting them a...

Re: Ohio anyone can legaly take your animals

It says OR convenient so they can take if they deem it more convenient than doing something else. As far as contacting the owner it says about doing that after you take it not before. The main issue here is they can take them long as they claim there was neglect or they thought there was, or can fee...
