Re: Updates and fun stuff~

Crested morphs? I'm sure to eventually get more, when I can afford it. I'm not too sure about morphs, though. I don't have any real plans as far as breeding for something specific right now. When I first started researching cresteds I fell in love with the halloween harlequins, and then I got Mana a...

Re: Updates and fun stuff~

Alright, so some awesome reptile updates, because I've been like completely silent for a while. First of all, I got another snake. A ball python. He was sold as normal, but the dude told me he might be a morph called special. Hard to know. Either way he's awesome. My cousin and I went to a reptile e...

Re: Dog Won't Drink

My dog refuses to drink out of those jug bowls. Maybe a few laps when he's absolutely next to dehydration. I feel nally gave up and replaced it with just a large bowl. Needs to be filled more often, but at least Ren drinks. Then again he's picky and barely drinks out of bowls he likes... My parents ...

Re: Updates and fun stuff~

Ah, I thought I had put that in my first post buy I guess I forgot. At room temperature they're supposed to hatch in about 120 days. I'm pretty sure, these guys should hatch about in time for next semester at school, or a bit before, late July/early August if I can math correctly (maybe not took cal...

Re: Updates and fun stuff~

Thank you, Gita! Yess, I love corn snakes. Adorable and so much variety, and they don't get as large as some other snakes. And Tarantulas are cute too. I find it hilarious, guiltily, 'cause small normal spiders always creep me out, like their awesome but if one is indoors walking freely I tend to fr...

Re: Updates and fun stuff~

Double checking online, most crested eggs do look similarly yellow being candled and photographed. Oh, and the incubation. (Its finals week I'm a little spazzy) I did jurry rig a simple 'incubator' based on what I've read online and how breeders post that they incubate eggs. Pretty much they are in ...

Re: Updates and fun stuff~

I have been very careful not to turn them at all, all the reading that is one of the first things in bold you see so I had that figured out before I even considered getting a second gecko ^.^ You can't see well in the picture 'cause its light, but I did put a little pencil check on each of them. Mos...

Re: Hi!

Greetings! I am previously from CO myself, and I will say that part of the reason I'm happy to move out (besides the fact that I had promised myself a permanent return to OK since I moved away at age 5) is that there really isn't any way to be allowed most exotic animals. I was speaking once to the ...

Updates and fun stuff~

So... I have some critters I have never introduced (technically one is an invertebrate, but as 2/3 of the stuff I'm putting in this post is reptile stuff, I figured I'd just stick it all in one post in the reptiles area) and some other fun news, that I'm eager to share here so YAY fun stuffs. First ...

Re: Need help getting rid of bad habits

Meant to reply here again previous. It is improving, both within his behavior and mine. Every once and a while he makes a mess again, but for the most part we've got it figured out. He is free feed, but its mostly cause he only eats once a day in the evening, almost always its before we take our lon...

Re: Strangest or Silliest Animal Misnames or Typos You've Seen

I had completely forgotten about this, but people at pet supply stores have thought my seven-pound fuzzball was a hyena or an African wild dog: Then there was the little kid who saw my Scottish Deerhound and said, "Look, Mommy, a dragon!" I am very very used to people mistaking my pets fo...

Re: Strangest or Silliest Animal Misnames or Typos You've Seen

I can't say I've seen many typos or misnames at petstores or craigslist or anything, save a few common mixups of fish species (siamese algae eater labeled as the similar but different siamese flying fox, for example) and it always annoys me how petco or other petstores will give their own names to b...

Re: Cropping and Docking

Mutt. She looked like she likely had some pitt or a similarly structured breed in her, but really could've had anything in her.
