Re: She keeps getting more violent

I'm sorry this took so long. I was working on a pen for her but things have come up. I will be looking at rehoming her now.

Re: She keeps getting more violent

Well its not like she's violent constantly. Just a moment ago she was jumping up on my leg to get me to chase her around. I still sleep in the same room as her and she never bothers me (well violently, a few times she tries to play). If I approach her slow and low to the ground she won't attack. The...

Re: She keeps getting more violent

I was thinking of a last attempt to build a pen for her. Is this worth doing or do you think its past the point of it helping?

Re: She keeps getting more violent

I think you are vastly overestimating my income. I cant just up and move. My concern with giving her up is, well my concern for her. I'd hate to lose her of course but her happiness takes priority. However I worry about giving her to someone thats less capable than I am. I know first hand how diffic...

She keeps getting more violent

She isn't just biting but she's being more aggressive. She went from nipping my heels to jumping for my hands and now she's chomping down on my leg. This behavior has grown more frequent with no real sign as to why. She hadn't stolen anything and even when she attacks I remain as calm as I can witho...

Re: She stole garbage and now I cant go near her

Walks might help, but if your neighbors gave you trouble over dogs I would advise going someplace else for the walks. A single neighbor gives us trouble (and its not just us, last week they called the cops because the neighbor kids were playing ball near the property line). I do get what you mean, ...

Re: She stole garbage and now I cant go near her

Sorry about the delay, see to get to my computer I need to go through my room so initially that was a problem, then there was my trip, then me recovering from it. Now while I was on a trip she was of course being watched. They took the stance of leaving her alone in my room but trying to encourage h...

Re: She stole garbage and now I cant go near her

Toss a blanket over her and then toss her in her enclosure to calm down. Cant even get near her. she rushes out and attacks. Plus I've tried using a blanket to catch her, never been able to. Similarly she's wise to all attempts at baiting her now. Is it better to leave her alone until she calms dow...

She stole garbage and now I cant go near her

She got into the garbage and stole some chicken. I took the wrapper and she became very violent. I think she has more hidden in my room. If I go in she immediately attacks me very aggressively. Its currently the next morning and the behavior persists [update] I think I found it all. Hopefully she wi...

Re: Do they play fetch?

I'm just not sure. She isn't trying to rip it out of my hand but I do get her attention when I have it and squeak it. She will chase after it but then just nudge it abit or take it and run off somewhere

Do they play fetch?

She often plays with herself. Tossing a ball down the steps. But when I have it and get her attention does throwing it show I want to play or in her mind and I just keeping her toy from her?

Re: Never heard her bark before

She seems to have calmed down. I guess she was just spooked. Nice to know its not too unusual and just another foxy hang up

Never heard her bark before

So my mom and grandma came into the house with some stuff from a garage sale. Then my little Natasha went nuts. She, well she barked. Not like the usual yip when she's on alert it reminded me more of a dogs bark. Thing is she turned more aggressive after that. I mean well after, like she was being b...

a dig box

So I had an idea. I realize its not really possible to get her to stop digging. Its a very base instinct. So I thought if I gave her something she could dig in that would help. My idea was simple. Get a box, fill it with stuffing (I got the firmer stuff like what you'd use as lining) and hopefully s...
