could anyone post this on their Facebook, or whatever they have for media. It is for Lucy (my beagle) She is totally blind from cataracts in both eyes. She can get surgery, but, it cost $1000.00 per eye. Even if I got one eye done, it is better than nothing at all.

Re: Has anyone heard of Frilled Dragons being pets?

Thanks for the info naja! Thanks to previous comments, I'm well aware of dangerous cohabitation between marmosets and frillies.

Re: Has anyone heard of Frilled Dragons being pets?

Yeah! Well, my mom is anyways. I guess their cages should be in different rooms as well then?

Re: Has anyone heard of Frilled Dragons being pets?

If I do get one, I plan on feeding it Dubia Roaches and pinkies as a treat. Temperature shouldn't be a problem, seeing as how I live in southern Alabama. I'm not familiar with misting, but I've heard it's required for certain reptilian species, so I'll look into that. The indoor enclosure will be co...

Re: Has anyone heard of Frilled Dragons being pets?

Thanks for the name idea! I never would've thought of a regal name. Frillies don't need too much moisture from what I can tell. Sand and soil seems like a good substrate to me! If I get one, here's where I'll be getting it: http://www.backwaterreptiles.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fa...

Re: Has anyone heard of Frilled Dragons being pets?

Thanks! I've done a little research as I've just only found out about these being pets and it seems that maybe a tall 4x6x4 tank might be good with some plants, mulch and dirt, and some pictures of forests to make him/her feel at home. I cant think of a name so that'd be appreciated. Probably going ...

Has anyone heard of Frilled Dragons being pets?

So I've been on an exotic animal search, looking for the best one for me. I've been looking at mostly mammals and sometimes birds, when I got the idea of a reptile. So I was looking on YouTube for pet reptiles and saw a video on the Frilled Lizard. Does anyone here own one or know if they make good ...

Re: Fox Enclosure Step-by-step (IMAGE HEAVY)

Wow Ash! This enclosure looks amazing! Do you know if it could be used for a smaller quantity of larger animals, such as coyotes or wolves? Maybe even hyenas?

Re: What exotic animal should I start with?

Thank you Juska for your well thought out response (sorry if that sounded sarcastic, It was actual gratitude). The most "exotic" breed of dog I can think of are Chihuahua's and those annoy the crap outta me  I would like a Gampr Dog, but my mother isn't fond of dogs bigger than her. I...

Re: What exotic animal should I start with?

Hmm, so I'm assuming nothing that needs an outdoor enclosure. I would suggest a red fox as a more advanced starter, but they require outdoor enclosures. So probably wouldn't be an option in your current situation. Looking at your list of wanted animals, maybe you could start with a fennec fox. A fe...

Re: What exotic animal should I start with?

At the moment, I've got half an acre so now isn't a good time to get a wallaby, but in the next 4-5 years, I'll be getting a 50 acre land in the middle of the country with little to no disturbances. I've certainly thought about getting a wallaby, preferably a bennets, but in my current situation, I'...

Re: What exotic animal should I start with?

Rabbits have a lifespan of 8-12 years. Chinchillas about 10 years. Ferrets are a good started but are only 8 years. On the bit more advanced but still starter level just a higher starter level, a skunk might be perfect. Captive lifespan is 10-15 years. The hardest part about them is sticking to the...

What exotic animal should I start with?

I couldn't figure out where to put this so I put it here. In my future years, I wish to own a Spotted Hyena, yet I have zero experience with exotics, other than holding marmosets and petting a tiger when I was two :P So, I was wondering what a good starter exotic would be. Preferably mammals, as I g...
