Haven't given it much thought, but... -Large primates -Turtles (Like Ash, I feel they aren't a rewarding pet) -Venomous snakes -Gators/Crocs -Most fish (Same reason as turtles, although I did train a betta to bop its nose out of the water for food which was kinda cool) -Hamsters (Don't dislike them ...

I chose 3 because I binge researched Flying Squirrels. Most of the difficulty around Petri was completely unrelated to him. (Ie the car broke down in Southern Alabama on our way back to Florida from Tennessee and we had to wait several hours in pitch black with a hungry squirrel and cold formula) Ho...
Should I start with HCs of LCs? I REALLY want to start with HCs. Regardless of how old you are, for people of all ages it's encouraged to start small and work up from there. Starting with low content would be easier, so while I'm no expert on wolfdogs, that's what I'd recommend. Perhaps if you're r...
Looks like this is the license you'd need to keep the wildlife as pets, but calling the office for specific questions is always a good idea. Oklahoma Noncommercial Breeder License Form edit- Oops didn't see this topic was about a month old, well I hope this is helpful for anyone who stumbles across ...

So as much as possible, try to do your legality research on your own. :) Are foxes legal in west valley. Sweet irony  Though I probably shouldn't be one to talk anyway. Though I haven't asked this specifically, I've asked my fair share of questions I could of found on my own. So I'm very grat...
I'll be sure to update with new pictures every now and then. Adorable! Is he name does after Peter from "The Land Before Time"? I don't know much about flying squirrels— from your experience so far, would you say they're similar to sugar gliders or squirrels? His name came from Petri Dish,...
Over the past several months I've been preparing, and just 2.5 weeks ago, I drove from Florida to Tennessee to pick up a 4.5 week old male flying squirrel. So without further ado, he are some pictures of Petri the flyer, listed from youngest to oldest http://imgur.com/a/NAfHg!

I ultimately decided to wait on getting a grey since it seemed like a poor decision in my current stage of life, but I still plan on it eventually. This leads me to the question: Is it safe to take a Grey out to socialize, etc, even though they can't get a distemper vaccine? Just thought of this rea...

Buying someone an animal without consulting them seems like a bad idea in most situations, let alone when they're going off to college, unless the person giving the animal is willing to take care of it if the receiver can not. The city I live in has 5 colleges, so we never have a shortage of animals...
With some research, http://www.adventurecats.org/gear-safet ... -cat-need/ , it seems that a vest option may be better if you fear the cat will slip out. I definitely would go for a more vest styled one anyway, considering how flexible cats are.

Even if a vet makes more, I can go back to school after a few years as an RN to become a NP (which make more on average than vets), if I'm financially stable enough to do so (Otherwise, becoming an RN takes less school and has higher projected growth (as far as available jobs). I'd rather play it sa...
