Re: So you want a baby fox . .

Todd is hard to get a photo of. He is shy, and you will never know when he will show up.

Re: So you want a baby fox . .

I never ment to imply that they should not have outdoor. enclosures, just that they shouldn't be penned up and forgotten. You become the leader of their skulk and they need to know they still bejlong. Ps seldom do I get to eat an entire meal. It is always shared with someone. I hace a opossum. Who t...

So you want a baby fox . .

This is the time of year that we see all the baby foxes, and think "Aww how cute!" I know you have talked to the breeder , and asked questions, but still in about 5 months, many of the cute babies will be going through the October crazies, or even earlier, not acting like the cute little b...

Re: Tame Arctic foxes

I realize the posting was flagged. What I was interested in was knowing how old and how much. If they are reasonable. It is worth posting a counter add asking for them to contact me. It too expensive there us no reason to bother.

Re: Do Foxes get jealous of other pets ever?

In my experience it is a resounding YES!! Many nights there are squabbles over who gets the prime position by me on the bed.(queen size bed, lots of room doesn't matter.) Often they will pull another animals tail, or push them off the bed, out of jealousy. It has gone so far as to have one fox sleepi...

Re: New Red Fox Kit, Biting Issues-Help!

One thing I have found effective, is a high pitched KIYIIII. Loud and shrill at the first sign of bitting rough. I would not pull away. (make a sound like a hurt puppy). It has worked for mine.

Re: can anyone help this woman? pregancy problem.

It requires more info. Is the baby malpresented? Is a leg back and hooked? It may require pushing the baby back in and bringing the front feet forward together. Is there any sign of life in the piglet? I have had to push kid goats back in and correct the presentation. Lub up the hand and arm will, a...

Re: That damm coon

I truly understand. Foxes kept taking my reading glasses, but left the others alone. Well, now the regulars have to be put on a shelf they can not reach at night or in a drawer. Last night I fell asleep with the "cheater readers" on and they took them off my face for me. Luckily they have ...

Re: Amazing foxes

Kim, I don't believe calm is ever a word that will be able to be used to describe Kenti, but she is wonderful. Seldom a day goes by that I do not bless you for allowing her to come into my life. (ok so maybe the days she is trying to steal the animal food from me, or the groceries I am trying to get...

Amazing foxes

Peta and the like think our animals are unhappy. Let me tell you it isn't so. Mine are amazing. A few weeks ago I had pain and numbness in the back and right arm. No big deal, motrin helped, but Kenti, the wonderful marble fox took to sleeping in my room, somewhere she could watch me every night. Oc...
