Re: Semi aquatic frog/toad

Fire-bellied toads. I only have experience with orientals but take a look at the other species as well. Fairly active and awake during the day so make a great display to watch. Can be kept in groups which is much more entertaining and active than a lone specimen. Spend time on land and in water. In...

Semi aquatic frog/toad

What are good semi aquatic frog/toads? Beginner level. Not too small and can be handled occasionally? I like pixie frogs but I have heard they are not very active, some activity would be good. Thanks. It would be good if it liked to swim

Re: Wild caught fox kit

Not allowed to catch them from the wild but what I heard from others in the UK is it's okay to rescue one. So like if they took it to a vet and had it documented that they found it orphaned and in need of care they could then get away with it, but that's just what I've heard from others. It is not ...

Wild caught fox kit

Hey guys. A while ago my mothers friend and her husband caught a young fox kit, and now it seems they have decided to keep him. They named him ralf. Anyway I am very concerned because it is illegal to keep wild caught foxes, and I don't know if they are taking care of him well enough! Last I saw he ...

Re: Spiny soft shelled turtles

I love their noses :) yeah I will definitely have to get one in the future! Beautiful things.

And it turns out my beardie is just an ass haha. He will eat but it takes 25-30 minutes to get him to eat one roach... But at least he's eating now.

Re: Sick Bearded dragon?

The UVB bulb has been in use for 3 months. I haven't had a parasite check done, but he shows no signs of it, in addition to his salad he gets various different fruits, he has a bath every week And fresh water at all times, this substrate is tiles so there is no way he could of eaten those. It's been...

Sick Bearded dragon?

He constantly has a black beard and is more grumpy when I hold him. He won't eat any of his salad, he usually at least eats ...

Do chuckwallas make good pets?

I am interested in getting one. The herbivorous diet is appealing. Do they like to be handled? This is the most important question, as I prefer animals I can interact with. I can't find very much information on the Internet, so if you know a good care sheet that would be great. Would you recommend o...

Baby fox !

I met the cutest fox baby today! About 7-8 weekes old. Softest fur in the world. Very friendly for a wild fox. He lost his parents during a fox hunt. The rescuers will hopefully contact the space soon. Gorgeous fox.

I currently have a bearded dragon, and I love him to bits. I have fallen in love with reptiles since I got him, particularly quince ministers. Obviously I need to have loads more expirence before I even think about one of those haha. so what is another beginner level lizard? I have researched skinks...
