Re: Need A Companion

Do you think the 10' Wide x 12 ' Long x 8' high enclosure would be sufficient for a Raccoon and Fox? And yes I will make sure to check the local and state laws before doing anything.

Need A Companion

Hello, I haven't posted much since my original post about how I got my baby girl (Roxy) the raccoon almost 10 months ago. I feel terrible for Roxy icon-sad although she is very lovable and smart she needs a companion. I live in Michigan and would be willing to travel to get Roxy a playmate. Roxy pla...

Re: Outside Enclosures

Thank You all for the great ideas! I am going to start (trying) to build something this weekend. Another question maybe some of you have had experience with? Is there anyway to keep my baby girl from chewing the carpet? She loves to go upstairs and chew the carpet (And padding) around my bedroom doo...

Outside Enclosures

Hello, I was wondering if anyone here has built an outside enclosure for their raccoons? As of right now our baby (5 Months) has the run of the house when she is not sleeping, but I would like her to get some fresh air and have a nice 10'x10' or 12'x12' outside enclosure she could use. I am not a re...

Re: Scent Marking

Thank You. I will definitely be investing in the carpet cleaner! She is the Princess of the house and has full range within its walls. She and the dog play tirelessly and we enjoy every minute of having her in our lives. I do hope with age she would be a little more interested in cuddling! icon-smile

Scent Marking

I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with their raccoons scent marking. My female is only 17 weeks old and for some reason she likes to rub her scent on certain things. Me being one of those things :icon-frown: I am not sure there is anything I can do other than keep cleaning the carpet ...
