Pat, I am sorry for your llama's. Thats terrible! I remember when you first started posting about your llama problems, I am stunned that is has cost you more of your llamas. I have never heard of this worm up until this point.... Is it a region specific problem?

Muntjac deer are small, and I dont think you could be hurt badly by one in rut lol. They are smaller than some dogs. I think many exotic hoofed animals do have some type of rut. Unless you plan on breeding, all females would work out great.

yes they do, so you should avoid them that time of the year. However, unless they have been bottle fed, the rest of year they should be nice.

im in favor of creating a new gov. org that deals with companion exotics.

Oh and off topic but I read somewhere that Obama's daughters own ferrets. How is that for stupid if he got into office and there are places that still ban them.

Suebear it a good idea but it doesn’t address venomous animals which generally do not weigh much but are extremely dangerous. But it is a great idea and start and is what we need to do. thanks, i forgot to incorporate venomous reptiles. I was mainly thinking about mammals in my plan. Perhaps have s...

I think that laws should be based on weight and potential danger an animal posseses. A skunk is potentialy more dangerous than a sugarglider for instance. 0-25 lbs no regulation of small exotics. However you must provide proof of ownership, veterinary care, ect if a law or animal control officer has...
