As I mentioned in the other thread, I believe that because humans are omnivores, I have no reason to feel bad about eating meat. I plan on raising and killing my own meat when I'm older. I do believe that it would be most respectful to the animal to use as much as I can from their body so I will try...

That'd be cool. I live in Ottawa, Ontario but going to BC and buying one would probably be easier than going to the US. I was under the impression though that owning exotic animals in B was pretty much banned now

Yeah, well I'm really big on being/acting natural (I don't shave my legs or armpits because I believe nature gave us hair there for a reason). I'm not going to tell people that they shouldn't be vegetarians because that's their choice and I'm certainly not going to judge them based on that but I hon...

I'm not trying to be rude so please don't take this the wrong way, I was just wondering if the reason that nobody has answered this post is that I'm the only one who lives in Canada. It wouldn't surprise me, but it would be disappointing because it's mean I'm on my own for finding out breeder inform...

Huh, I'd never heard of that before. Looking at pictures, it looks sort of like a mix of a groundhog, beaver, and capybera

So, can a coatimundi be a good pet?

Hey guys,

I remember reading a thread here that talked about a coatimundi being really destructive and Mary said something about them not being very good pets. So, would you guys agree that a coatimundi does not make for a good pet?

I kinda stopped reading through this thread halfway because I was lazy and just wanted to add my reply so sorry if my post isn't still relevant. My thoughts on fur/hunting; I feel it is most respectful to use everything one can from the animal they've killed. If I'm going to kill something; I will e...

What have you seen at the Innisfail auction?

Hey guys,

Since I live in Canada, it'll probably be less of a hassle for me to buy exotic animals in Canada. Has anyone ever been to the auction in Innisfail, Alberta? If you have, I'd love to know what you've seen/bought there.

Thanks guys
