Re: My baby became a wild raccoon

spaying might help at that age, however, it might take a while for her mood to change at that age. she should have been spayed when she was younger. usually, aggresstion with an intact raccoon, will usually start around december, however, that don't always stand true. I also think female raccoons ar...

how old was he was you weaned him? you could try giving him a bowl of ice cubes with a few mini marshmallow, and very litter syrup. when He starts to nibble on you. how long has it been since he was weaned and at what age? nibbling is sure better than biting. icon-smile I don't recall mine ever doin...

I never thought of snap peas. I personallly like them. (I am not big on veggies)

do you put anything over the snap peas? do you cut them at all?
I will give a few to my raccoons and see if they eat them.

Re: What to eat

by nature raccoons will eat almost anything. some foods I feed mine, but, change it once in a while. taste of the wild dog food (can be other brands, but, get a good brand) (they don't need much of it) raw eggs (1 for each of them) cereal (people cereal) fruits ( a good one to start out with) grapes...

Re: Where can I get a male raccoon fixed.

Joeis Mom welcome to sybils message board. We are here to help and learn. Raccoons are so darn cute and lovable (if raised properly), sounds like you are doing a good job with him. the neuter for your raccoon is going to be hard to find a vet that will do that. icon-sad I agree with Ash, it will be ...

Re: When to split siblings

they should have been separated when they were on the bottle. bottle feeding helps bonding with humans. 3-4 weeks is fine to re-home the 2nd one. don't know if you ever raised raccoons before, but, with me, one is not enough  it is nice to have two sometimes. they do play with each other. some ...

I got another peacock. he is a world of difference from the runaway. ( I don't want to speak too soon) he guards the 3 turkeys I have and the guineas. so far, he sticks around. now my peahen is missing  she might be sitting somewhere. she did that last year and was gone for several months, but...

Re: Heavy metal & BPA Champion Pet Food – Acana and Orijen

thank you for alerting us about this dog food. Personally, I have a hard time trusting most dog foods. my dogs get cooked chicken and sweet potatoes. my fox and raccoons get the same thing, however, they will get a little dog food "taste of the wild" as far as I know there has not been a r...

Buggle, I hope you can get a armadillo. I would be interested in learning more about them. pictures also. I can relate to your state laws, my state is the same way. no one seems to know their own regulations. I would guess all states are different, but, when I would call them, I always asked for the...

trefoil, I can relate t6o what your raccoon did. Larry did that to mine years ago. can't remember which type mattress it was. I think mine was a memory foam mattress. since then, I got a regular box spring and mattress. the coons I have now don't seem to bother with it. they will lay on it sometimes...
