hmm, now you have me wondering. it could have looked like the copperhead, but, it also could have been the rat snake. he didn't seem agressive when he seen me, so maybe that is a good sign.. I still have all my animals  so that is a good sign too. I don't know what you have anymore I don't eith...

I wondered that too. seems many are trying to cut corners to make more money GREED GREED GREED..... This is just depressing, I really don't know what I would do if either of my dogs or cat died. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. to see your beloved pet die in the...

what kind of snake is this

Unfortately, i didn't get any pictures, but, I found a big snake in the fox pen. he was under a 4 ft x 2ft pan. I have chain link on the bottom and of course no the sides, with some chicken wire. I don't know how he got in. He was a jet black, with some type of design on him, maybe almost a diamond ...

actually, now that I think about it, what do breeders do with animals that they can't sell? usually at the auctions, most are sold.

I know some might be used for breeders.

Kastrophee, Funny you would mention that. two days before Fannie got sick, there was a car that stopped on the road. I saw someone get out, but couldn't tell where the person went to. a few days after Fannie died, I looked around and found some foot prints to the fence. Now, it could have been the n...

(actually still do) He died May 2, 1998, I was not ready for any pups for awhile, but the one day,(may 31) I went t...

I would think if they really wanted to try and sell their animals, they would have a specific link to them

I don't think I could trust a breeder that has such a variety of animals.. Unless it is a pretty big operation where they have enough people to care for the animals.

I know some people feel raw meat is better. My personal opinion, I am for the cooked meat. Seems cooked meat would be better chance of less disease. Not only that, you will get the meat juice to mix with other indgrediants. it goes further too.. I use to feed my dogs raw soup bones. I don't anymore....

Fortately, I had some antibotics left from another dog. Seems since I started the one dog J.J (the worse) it seems to be helping. If he continues to pant and have excessive thirst, I will take him to the vets.. I just had two of my dogs at the vet a few weeks ago. Right after my Fannie died, I notic...

I am also having a hard time finding different ideas. So far, I buy ground meat in bulk and cheap roasts. I cut the roast up start that in a big pot with some vegtable oil, then add the ground meat. sliced carrots is good to put in. (some dogs don't like them, so I grind them in a blender) also, I a...

I just seen online that the chicken jerkeys from Sam's have been tainted

This may explain why a couple of my dogs had diaria and excessive thirst and panting.
