red fox colors maths

just did the maths on red fox colors. and wow. only going on the color mutations i'm aware of, that's marble, platinum, white face, fire, (and the super forms, not counting the lethal supers) and pearl and burgundy, I've calculated 76 different combinations. when you times this by the 3 'wild type' ...

Re: diameter wire?

I see chainlink available as well, but I'm leaning towards welded with a 50mm (2'') square gap, i think these are better quality and they last longer and just in my own opinion they look neater (plus if there is a break it's not a problem, whereas if there's a break in chainlink it can be unraveled)...

exporters

anyone know of someone who can export mammals from the US to uk or europe? i'm particularly thinking of kinkajous, which are rare over here, and fox color forms that aren't available here yet.

diameter wire?

what diameter wire is needed to house foxes? I've found a wire advertised as fox safe (for keeping them out as opposed to in) and it's 12g, i noticed ash's cage is made of 6g horse panels, is 12g enough?

Re: problems with colors

Ok, I knew many of the incomplete dominant traits had lethal homozygous form. I had thought there were other problems present perhaps in the heterozygous form or in some of the recessive traits. i suppose my real question would be of any of the colors available, are there any health issues pet owner...

Re: foxes as an outdoor pet

would the fox not find it easier to bond with and socialize with it's cage-mate if it's been raised by another fox no? my way of thinking would be the whole point of bottle raising is to get the animal as tame as possible either to keep it as an indoor pet or for safety reasons, I'd be happy enough ...

Re: foxes as an outdoor pet

that sounds like an ideal situation. i would like if the fox stayed affectionate or even tolerant of human interaction, but i wouldn't want them to be too dependent on me either which is why i was thinking parent reared and socialized would be best. although i suppose pulled at 5 weeks isn't as dras...

foxes as an outdoor pet

I have been thinking about foxes and it seems that many people keep theirs in the home at least part time. has anyone had any experience keeping them outdoors (in a secure enclosure with a den area obviously) all the time? I had been thinking if i got 2, raised them indoors and transitioned them int...

Re: vaccines for bengals

Thanks. I could ask the breeder but i'd like to ask other people as well, and do some independent research rather then coming to the breeder all the time.

cold blooded section

it's kinda bothered me for a while that turtles and tortoises are listed as seperate from the reptile section, and there is no amphibian section, but salamanders are listed as an example of reptiles.... could chelonia (turtles and tortoises) be listed in with the rest of the reptiles and that sectio...
