Dog E Den

So thanks to Linsey, who made me aware these things exist, I parted with some of my moldy money and got my boyz one of these Dog E Dens. Pretty pricey, but hey, what else am I gonna do with my $$ but spend it frivolously on my furrkids. Dewey & Bobby seem to really like it, and are using i...

Re: The gaze meets doge. (IMAGE HEAVY)

Love the pics! Thanks for sharing!!

Looks like the introduction went very well. Yay! Puppy is so cute. Have you gotten her the safety goggles yet?

How long have you had the cat tunnel? Thought about getting one for my boyz, but figured they'd have it in pieces in a short day.

Re: Toys!!

There is already at least one thread about toys under this topic. See here: https://sybilsden.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=13987 There are more here under this topic, too, if you just take the time to peruse. You can easily search under this topic by typing "toys" in the search engine.

Re: I just wantl to complain

I've thought about putting a wooden box with blankets up there, but I'm afraid of what they would damage throwing it down.

Well, you could bolt it to the wall...

Re: I just wantl to complain

I actually just purchased one of those DogEdens for my boyz (they live outdoors). Can't wait to receive it and get it installed. At $140, they had BETTER use it!!

Re: Official Raccoon vaccine protocols

Rather than load up on all vaccines at once for my guys - which can be really hard on their immune response systems - I will alternate the feline distemper and the canine distemper. One year, they get the feline, the next year they get the canine. Of course, I always defer to my vet and her knowledg...

Re: For Those Who Love Raccoons!

Those are cute, but sadly, I can't stand those short socks! I have several pairs of socks with raccoons on them - a friend of mine picks them up for me whenever she finds some - but I don't wear them because they ALL are those shorty socks. :wall: But I keep them as part of my ever-expanding raccoon...

Re: New raccoon person needs vaccine help!

I typically follow the protocol laid out by the AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums). You can find the recommended list of vaccines on page 37 of the PDF found here:

Pat, you wondered where you could get "Raccoon Crossing" signs? Amazon has tons of them. That's where I got mine. The first link is to all their raccoon crossing signs, the 2nd link is the sign I got. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_1_16/139-2654197-0708361?url=search-alias%3Daps&a...

I'm so glad Dewey got a buddy! Any news on that third?

HA! Not bloody likely any time soon. If I get another coon, I'd better plan on getting a new husband, too.

Re: Senora and Jude <3

Thanks for sharing the pics, Ana! ALWAYS love seeing others' furr-kids!! And might I say, "WOW! Senora is growing F A S T !!!" Seems like it was a really good idea to add a fourth one - even though it's a LOT more work for you and Mike. LOL But it sounds like it's working out great and has...

Re: Cool idea for coonie comfort!

OK, I see what you were thinking on the bunk bed concept. Have you gotten the thing out of the package yet? This pod is very long - guessing over 5' - so unless you have EXTREMELY high ceilings, I don't think hanging it above the bunk bed would work. As I mentioned previously to you, to hang from wo...
