Re: What kinds of lizards are these?

Cool that they are available as pets. When I am in a proper situation, I may get one of each species (Green and Brown) as starter lizards and starter reptiles in general since I don't know much about reptiles. I think eventually it would be cool to have a larger lizard though like an iguana or a mon...

Re: International Zoo Services (Zoo Surplus broker)

Thanks. I was looking for CJ Exotics as the site. I didn't know his site was called something different. I don't plan to actually contact anyone until I'm actually planning on getting animals, but I just like to have people in mind for the future and hope they aren't retired or quit the business by ...

Re: International Zoo Services (Zoo Surplus broker)

She is cute. I never realized how small bobcats are. In the second photo, I thought she was some kind of domestic cat at first.

Re: What kinds of lizards are these?

Apparently we have a native lizard here called a Green Anole that is being pushed out by invasive Brown Anoles. http://houstonarboretum.org/2015/09/new-lizard-cuban-brown-anole/ http://www.texasmonthly.com/the-daily-post/the-green-anole-your-resident-backyard-lizard-is-being-pushed-out-by-its-uglier...

Wait. All of them are the same species even though they were all different colors, shapes, and sizes?

Re: Swift, Corsac, and Pale Fox Breeders?

Blandford's remind me of a cross between a fennec and swift. I think that's what it would look like if a swift and a fennec were able to have a baby together.

How would one go about finding the Corsac breeders?

Really interesting. Kind of like a cross between a skunk and a fennec.

What kinds of lizards are these?

So, I snapped some pics of native lizards here in Texas. I was wondering if anyone knew what species they are? Sorry about the last one. It's super blurry and I didn't get good pic before the little guy scampered off. I don't know if much can be told by the last one since its so blurry. But maybe so...

Re: Jane Goodall

I'm inspired by her studying of animals in the wild but I think wanting to give chimps human rights is a little extreme. Do I believe its wrong to experiment on chimps? Absolutely. But is giving them human rights the only way to stop them from being experimented on? Absolutely not. I believe all ani...

I thought so. I have to wonder who made those guidelines that they think they are even close enough to being big enough for any large canid.

Re: DNA Study Reveals the One and Only Wolf Species in North America

I tend to go by what IUCN and the Canid Specialist Group say and they still list the red wolf as a separate species.

I know the guy that imports the domestic foxes then but I forgot his name. I think its listed on the domestic fox site though.

Also, I just remembered CJ Exotics, but I'm not sure if he imports as well or just brokers.
