Opps. Hyzzie gets the gender mix up a lot too but then she is a tomboy.

everyone thinks that JAKE is a girl cos "he's too pretty to be a boy" lol :)

don't see how you can get the sex of a short haired chuey mixed up though - new one on me

I guess it helps she's so low to the ground though it happened before even when she had a pink sweater on.

Ditto! I didn't know collies came in those colors. Very gorgeous!

Hi ash :)

as i've outlined earlier the red fox red and white that jake is - is not a normal collie colour, jake is the first one (along with 1 brother and 2 sisters) that i'd ever seen and i've not seen another one since.

the whole history and blood lines and colour morphs are where i got my thoughts on this there are black white / brown white / grey white / blue merle white / red merle white / speckled blue merle / speckled red merle

there is no documented evidence for a pure red n white --- thinking that this may have been why the rspca labelled him a red fox

thankyou for your kind comments :)

That one beautiful dog you have on hand! If he is still able to breed, I'd breed him to see if you can produce that color again! Just as long as he doesn't have any bad traits to pass off in him. I'm sure there are people who would pay a pretty penny for a dog like that!
15 Indoor Cats and a clean house!

Far future wishlist:
1 Fox (Red, Red White Mark, or Marble) Though the Red White Mark would be hard to get.
2 Dogs (1 Malamute or Alusky, 1 shelter rescue)
and maybe 1 cat (shelter rescue)
