Thank you guys for your welcoming.

I have two squirrel monkeys, Charlotte and Chis, I have a cat who think is a big tiger, his name is Dony le chat, and a horse, Marley who think he is a dog, because he enters inside the office and walk around. When I figure how to put picture here, you will see :)

And I just had a falcon that I rescue, her name is Tifauxcon, but she is back to the wild where she belong to, but she stays around my house, maybe because they are territorial(?) Falcon are not pet at all, I just saved her, but when she got well and started to fly inside the house, I knew it was time for her to go, so I brought her outside but she wouldn't let go my hand, until I push her to fly, this just happen last week.

Like all of the people here, I'm a animal lover, I love them all, except frogs ;)

Thank you Ash :)

I just posted some photos of my little one in the pictures section.

I have very little exchanges with other primates owners, but one time i joined a ''british'' forum with primates owners, unfortunately I had a bad experience with other members, and I am ALWAYS very polite on social media, and I just didn't want to be part of it after this (after a couple days only) . I have a feeling, and I could wrong, that they primate owners dont like to shares with others people (wich I find odd). And it is too bad, cause there is not so much info about primates online.

Two years ago, I had my male monkey that was very sick, and I couldn't figure out what he had, at one point he hardly walked, lost a lot of weight, and I thought it was the end. I wish that I could have someone that would have help me at that time and finally I fund the info online. I live on a small Caribbean Island, so the vets here dont know much about primates, but one of the vet that knows about primates, comes twice a year on the Island. The day that I fund out what my little boy had, I rush to the vet, and the specialist on primate happen be there at that time, and he never heard about this diseace ''Trichospirura leptostoma''. We treated the monkey and after a month and a half, I started to see he was getting better. But he took about 9 months to fully recovered.

Anyway, I hope this forum will have members with primates, although I love all animals and I will read other section of this forum, but if there is primates onwers, it will be great to share about them. And if anyone have any questions, I will be more then happy to share my experiences with them. I dont know much about other primates then the one I have, but i read a lot about them, and no mather the species they all have many things in common, except man lol

Cheers

Sorry about your bad experience with other owners. I've found primate groups on facebook to be more helpful. Nothing against the Brits, of course, but they tend to have a more progressive view on animals. Even exotic animal keepers there are often against what we consider standard practice. So if you found a more international group, you'll get both sides.

What was strange is that there were all primate owners... After this I took a break of primate ''forum''. I fund this forum few years back, and I read it from time to time, and I decided to be part of it recently :)

I did also fund a group on FB, the woman in charge of this group was actualy very nice. But they were restricted to people living in Florida, and I respect this.

I think it is important to share our experiences, and of course help each others if possible, and it's even more important when it is not the ''usual'' pet.

P.S. English is not my primary language, so I'm sorry if I massacre it a little bit... I often use the help of an editor, but I will not do it here, so forgive my misswriting, and dont hesitate to correct me.

Sounds like you've got some great animals. : )

It's so amazing that you helped that falcon out, and she really seems to appreciate it as well. Probably knows you can be trusted.

I'm sorry to hear about your poor little monkey being sick for so long, but I'm so glad that he got better, even if it took a while. He is lucky to have someone who cares enough to nurse him back to health.

Looking forward to seeing you around the forum. : )

Yes GitaBooks, as human we do terrible things to our planet and the kingdom of animalia, so when we are capable of making a ''little thing'', it makes us feel better about our self :)

Pets becomes part of our family, so when they are sick it is very hard to deal with it, and it is even harder for the fact that they cant tell you what is wrong with them. I can't even tell you how happy I was when he first got out of the cage and walked towards me, I knew then he was going to be OK.

And thank you for the welcoming :)
