Wolfdogs in Canada

Postby Nìmwey » Thu Nov 08, 2018 1:28 am

I couldn't find a thread on this already, so here we go.

It seems wolfdogs - I don't know how high content - are legal in BC, but not on the east coast (Newfoundland/Labrador, Nova Scotia, etc.).

I'm also wondering if the established breeds of "wolfdog", like the Czechoslovakian or possibly Saarloos have been established in Canada.
If not, why, and are there laws against them in the provinces?
My main interest is in parrots, dogs, toothed whales and snakes.
Future animals I want to have when we have land are camels, wolfdogs/wolves, coyotes or jackals, striped hyena or aardwolf. Also poultry, rabbits water buffalo and/or yak for livestock.
