I believe he is Wolf/coyote/Shep. I think she told me. She is going to email me his papers soon. Then I can tell exactly. Regardless....he is amazing! only 1yr old. still has some growing to do. He is just so massive!

His papers?
You do know that papers for wolfdogs are worthless, if you are talking about registery papers.
Unfortunately there is no reputable registery for wolfdogs out there.

I registered my two threw a registery one time as American Indian dogs just to prove the ones that will, will register them as anything you claim them to be. I also know someone who registered a donkey as a wolfdog one time too, just to see if they could get papers for them and they did.

Highly doubt there is any coyote. They are extremely rare in the trade. He does look like a lower content gsd/wolf, though, I am much less qualified than Cindy to say.

Yes that's what I was thinking too.

Also he would be called a wolfdog not a wolfhound, a wolfhound is a total different type of dog. This is what wolfhounds are. ;) http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=wol ... &FORM=IGRE

I was only calling him wolfhound as a personal thing, He is a low/mid wolfdog. The previous owner is says dna tested as wolf/coyote/dog, but she is skeptical. There is paperwork. However; None of this matters as he is the greatest.....he was playing with a jack russell puppy a bit ago...he dropped down to the ground and played with the puppy so gently....the puppy even jump on him and off like a trampoline! He is just amazing beyond any bloodline. I know he has wolf in him. And from his markings and the "black saddle" I am guessing Shepard.

We weren't saying there is not any wolf in him :)
Did she say which dna test she had done. There is only one dna test out there that actually checks for wolf markers.

I know you weren't saying that! :D :P And im not sure about where the testing was done, ill know more about it when I receive them. He is the incarnate image of the dream I had of my wolfdog. I am almost there to completing that dream! To hunt with a hawk on horseback with a wolf in tow in the green fields of Ireland.

So far....I have a beautiful Appaloosa stallion. (Who looks Irish himself). Now I have my "Wolf" and Caly of course. My falconry permit is in the works. My boss has offered to take me to Ireland so. All I need now is my hawk! :D Though shipping my stallion to Ireland isn't going to be possible. But hawk and wolf maybe. :D
