What pretty eyes Max has! They're all beautiful of course but I would have to say Max is my favorite :icon-wink:

Thanks, we rescued him 4 years ago, we were supposed to just foster him threw a wolfdog rescue, but after less then a week he had us hooked.
I failed fostering 101
He's great with other animals too. He's played surrogate mommy to both the high contents and a fox and a foster pup that stayed here for a little while, that the breeder never socialized. He just loves babies.

If you look closely at this pic. you can see the baby he's curled up with

This next one is the low content rescue that was not socialzied at all to humans, he helped her so much in the short time she was with us

Aww, he looks like a great foster daddy! icon_biggin.gif Oddly enough I had a dog (an Aussie/Malamute, no wolf content of course) named Max, who was best friends with every animal that came into our home for more than 13 years, until he passed away this February.

Max sounds like such a sweetheart, his markings remind me of my Siberian Husky, except her markings kind of looked like a pointed clover! Yet I just love the classy looks that Loki has!

Is that fox your pet or are you rehabilitating it? I assume it's going to be a member of the family seeing him and Max (:

Max is mostly husky thats probably why he reminds you of one, he has very little wolf in him.

Yes she, (Roxie the fox) is a pet.

They are STUNNING!
I love the top photos of the male, my god he looks BIG!

Right now my other half is saying 'Hun, when we move to America you know I want a wolf, well I want THAT kind of wolf.' hehe.

I read in your guestbook comment that you have no wolves. Is Loki a wolfdog? Your enclosures are really nice.

Once you get up to that content there really shouldn't be any noticeable differences in them and a pure wolf.

What beautiful animals you have, and they all look so happy and well cared for!

I noticed that you are located in Virginia, I live in Alexandria, VA. Are you ever available for tours or the sort? I've never seen a wolf in real life before, and would love to see them. Of course I understand if your home isn't open to visitors. icon_biggin.gif

BTW, if you dont mind me asking, what differences do you find between domestic dogs and wolfdogs? My step-dad owned a wolfdog, and he said they are a lot of extra work and care.
