[quote="kiradelenor"]I have see this site and if you look at ALL their adults you can see that they deffinatly have wolf in them http://www.wolfacrekennels.faithweb.com/photo.html

quote]

Definately see the wolf in them? They are known bad breeders (rip off artist) , none of they're animals are what they claim, and have very little wolf if any in any of them.

On his old site he even tried claiming he had a 90 and 95% litter due in jan. lol

You know in almost every state (this includes texas) you can not breed a pure wolf with a dog...everybody should read up about it. I know it is impossibal to have a 90-95% content wolf hybrid pup because some where along the lines he would have had to bred a pure wolf with a dog.....that is illeagle... so be smart and know what your buying and don't depend on what the seller is saying do you own research i for on love the way the pups look and they do look like part wolf to me it don't matter how much wolf is in them i will still love it the same

Wolf hybrid can have a lot of health probloms if you don't feed them the right food they become under weight loose their teeth 2x fast because wolf dogs can not have grain in their diet. their is a list of problems with this dog and if you don't adress it right your dog will die ( did you know the parvo vaccine hardly works on wolf dogs? High content they are more possiblity it won't work my source local vets)

I'm confussed where exactly does it state you can not breed a pure wolf with a dog???
Now most states you can not own pure wolves without special permits, but no where does it say you can not breed the two together to produce f1 offspring, with the acception of a very few states. California being one of the states that say you can not own F1's but anything passed that you can F2, f3 so on and so on. There are a plenty of wolf reserves and wildlife reserves that are even breeding wolves and f1 wolfdogs and selling them to the public, these place have they're liscences and permits, to own pures. This is how people get the wolfdogs in the F1 animals that are in the 95+% range and end up with a pair and breeding them they're selves, that is how the true high content breeders end up with them. I purchased one of my animals from one of these wild life reserves.
http://www.wolfdogalliance.org/legislat ... elaws.html

That is also untrue about the parvo shots not working, wolves get the same diseases dogs do and all the shots do work. They do try and argue that the rabies shot might not work, only because it was not tested on them when they were testing certain breeds prior to saying the rabies shots would work on dogs. But did they test all the breeds of dogs?? No, but they say it will work on all of them. As it will work on wolves and wolfdogs also. Most of the normal vets out there do not know a thing about wolves and wouldnt even know a wolfdog if they seen it. I've seen a plenty of them call a pure blooded husky a wolfdog.

Now the food part is correct, kibble that contains wheat, corn and soy can slowly kill them

You should look up "the wolfdog project rabies controversy" on google. The wolfdog project site had very good info about it, and you will be pissed if after you read about how they screwed us over.

I dont know who that could be in that area. There's tons of scam artist in Tx. but there is a couple good ones too, that do have the real deal. For ex. This is Bobby Burress in Tx and he does have F1 98%'s

Yep thats true, thats why I had made the comment about the other guy having two supposed high content litters in Jan. because its impossible.
High contents like pure wolves can only have one litter a year unlike dogs who go into heat twice a year. Also highs like pures can only have the litters only in the spring no other time of the year unlike dogs who can have them anytime. They have them in March and April. If there is alot of arctic in the line they can be born in May.

If you're thinking about getting another I would recomend reading threw some sites on what to look for so you dont get ripped off. Plus if you want you can just post on here asking peoples opinions, or there is even a wolfdog forum you could post in also.

Here's a link to the wdforum
http://wolfdogforum.com/forum/

also here's one site you should read threw
http://texx-wolf-tails.webs.com/

another good page to read.

As others have said, that mother is a pure-bred white German Shepherd or atleast a mostly German Shepherd with very little if any wolf in it.

And all those animals posted on Wolf Acres site appear to be mostly if not all malamute.
