I finally figured my camera out, but apparently the files are too big to upload here, any advice? I could not be more technologically impaired if I tried, sorry ^^''

Cool. ^^ Can't wait to see the pics.

And I agree with Tamandua. Tinypic is really easy to use. Although there are other picture hosting/sharing sites, on most of them you have to make a user account, but on Tinypic, you don't have to make an account or anything. You just upload the photo and then paste the link they give you to the forum post you want to share the photos in.

They aren't in any order & some might be repeated as my laptop kept inexplicably dying halfway through the process so sorry about that! & I just realised, for someone who was there to photograph mink I spent a lot of time taking pictures of the marten xD Oh well, he's so beautiful I don't think that's going to bother anyone.
& heres the minks fb page in case anyone wants millons of better quality pictures of them! http://www.facebook.com/yukasuigetsu.vison?fref=ts

Hey, I just joined this group. I'm the Pet Mink/Minkenry guy :-) It's funny because I was reading this entire message thread, not having a clue that we had already talked, and then I read near the bottom where you said that I had been really helpful :-) I was like "HEY, THAT'S ME!" LOL anyway, good luck on getting your mink. To bad you're not in the U.S., because if you were than I could get you one REALLY EASILY. As you would know I'm hoping to have a litter or two next spring :-) But even if my girls aren't successful at having litters, I know several mink farmers that would sell us a baby mink. Well, good luck on your adventure at trying to get a mink. Sounds like you are getting close! :-)

@TamanduaGirl Glad to see I'm not the only one then!

@Talys I was seriously unable to handle their appeal too! I probably embarrassed myself in front of their owners by over reacting when I saw them, but I don't care!

@Minkenry Well you practically wrote essays to me on their care, if that's not helpful then I don't know what is! Ugh I know! I would buy one from you in a heartbeat. Are you bottle raising the litter or just handling them lots & keeping them with their mum/s? Either way I think they' should be easier to raise than ranch mink. Except if they're from Roxy, she sounds very intense! & I think i am, I have enough for the license, i just need to clean out the shed & build a cage before applying for the license!

My plan is to do both. I want to try an experiment and see if you handle them enough while they are with their mom, and then take them at when they are weaned at 6 weeks, if they are as nice as the ones you take at 34 days and bottle raise. So we'll see what we get :-)

Love the new pics, especially the ones of the marten. My favorite mink is the dark brown one. He's gorgeous.

This will be so interesting! Be sure to keep us updated on your mink's litters :) Also! What is the usual time for ranch mink to have their babies? I know wild mink have theirs in April/June, just wondering if ranch mink breed differently since they have regular food & other than the cold no environmental factors to influence them. Just want to make sure I have everything ready well in advance :)

& thanks Caninesrock! The brown one is the one all the girls loved the most too xD They said she was the most intelligent, she rolls over on command, which I tried to get in one of the pictures. Yuka was very wild though to so I could only pet the back when she was distracted...
