Russin mink

Postby FrothingMagpies » Sun Mar 10, 2013 4:32 pm

I seem to be finding a fair few examples of mink being kept as pets in Russia, I'm guessing this is because they'd produce better pelts in the colder weather so the farms do well over there so there's more farms for people to get them from?

Could they be from the institute domestic mink? I would guess they sell them cheaper to Russians.

I couldn't find out where they're from, unfortunately. I found some more videos of Russian pet mink though!

there seem to be a fair few pet Russian sables too, I found this gorgeous sable which has blue eyes, which they don't have in the wild http://25.media.tumblr.com/c9f8e2b18115 ... o1_500.jpg
