Simple forager box

Okay these are bird feeders but hanging cans just out of reach with treats could be good for the to jump up to knock treats out
Image

Okay a bird feeder idea again but I could see this working well for something like anteaters where they need to lick the threat out of the cracks

If a bottle is too easy invert half so it's harder for the treats to come out

Invert a muffin tin and drop treats in the cracks

Your pet a bit slow start with something easy, big holes

Old boxes are very useful

Bamboo or PVC tube box

Put wrapping paper tube, toilet roles or pvc on wires across a box then toss treats down in the bottom so they have to work the treat up past the rolls

Hope your furkids enjoy them.

I did the Easter eggs before but without holes. Well the ones I bought had tiny holes so worked as scent holes to encourage them. But if I put a small hole in it for stuff to fall out they'd just lick it out with their thin tongues and end of enrichment, lol. So in this case the challenge was their figuring out how to open the eggs. Ori found this very challenging https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvaloOvYRDQ

Here's what happens with them when you have a hole https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp4TdIghnQ4 More enriching than a bowl of stuff though.

And our enrichment failure. I maybe should give it another go though. I believe that was the species of ants they don't like as well as what we have now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfkT0xqkwVc

geez, I never noticed the long tongue on anteaters.

on the bottle, can you use a shorter bottle?

Yeah it being long is why I put so many ants in. A short one might be to easy if she likes what's in there. I think she just didn't like those kind enough to bother.
