I would never trust Wiki for anything. Prior to getting Harry and Elspeth I could not find the measurements for a corsac anywhere and I wanted to get collars. Well you would think wiki could get the size of an animal right but no, the collars and harnesses I got for them are even too big for Sapphire let along my itty bitty corsacs lol.

My friend Andy has far more corsacs then I do and he keeps them in a large group. The group has sort of groups within it normally a mother and her children. There is generally one really beaten up older female who seems to be the boss of the mini group. . . It's interesting to see. I don't like live in his corsac enclosure so I can't know for sure BUT I would assume that the males mate with females from different small groups to their own.

According to Oxford Uni's canid biology department corsacs live in groups for many reasons, one of them being that when they are out hunting Pika and such a red fox will kill a singular corsac but does not tend to fancy it's chances with more then that. SO one of the reasons why mine have not bred as of yet is that Ranger and Callie come into the house on a daily basis and they can probably to some extent smell them when I leave the windows open.

Does your friend Andy frequent the boards here? If be has more i would be interested in chit chatting with him or even you about them some time. I would be interested in a corsac as a starter if it would t be too much of a hassle to import. Maybe. I have no clue. I want a whole zoo soo.... If that tells yah anything about myself...

Andy does not really do the whole "internet" thing.

I mean Andy has shipped to the US and maybe he would do it again, I don't know. I would be happy to help an importer/exporter.
