So, I finally got my baby today. I'm still in Florida enjoying the weather and enjoy the company of my little princess!

Aw, what a cutie! Baby fennecs are adorable. I'm sure you will have a great time watching her grow. How big is she? I've only seen fennecs in real life once, but it was at a zoo so you couldn't get close. She looks super duper tiny.

I second Alynn. The name is beautiful and suits her perfectly.

He he, I just realized my jacket makes me look very, very tan. I guess it's a plus being Puerto Rican.
Anyways, she's tiny, but bigger then her sister. I can measure the length of her tomorrow if you'd like.
Thanks guys I appreciate it. She's definitely easily becoming a gem to my heart. She's consistently cuddling with me! (:

Awe! Originally I always planned on getting a fennec because they're so stinkin cute! After research I decided a red would probably fit into my lifestyle better, hense, my gambit ♡. Anyways, your Kenya is adorable! And I love her name

Thanks guys!
Believe it or not. She went potty in her litter box on her own. She is a smart little kit!

I have been.
I think I may have the easier side of it because her breeder had her and her sister also being raised by a Bengal cat and her litter full of kittens. She must have saw 'Danielle' use the litter box, and remembered it. Her cage is still accident free so far. Fingers crossed with her progress (although I won't be upset if she has accidents else-where.)
She's my little princess. She was by far worth every penny and the distance. Also, I'm not finding her poop or pee to smell bad at all. I even think the same with her parents (They were hanging outside in their outdoor enclosure.)

That's great. I've read owners have an easier time with the litter-training when they're kits, but we'll see how it works once she's an adult. Maybe you have a diamond in the rough with Kenya, lol.

You're making me want to go buy some fennecs! And that would be a problem since they're illegal in my state. ;)

What does her waste smell like to you? Anything you can compare it to--baby, dog, cat, etc.

Tell me about it. There's a group on Facebook 'pet fox owners ' They're all posting pictures of their red fox kits. I'm about to just get one. I feel you. Lol
I'm hoping she is. But you never know. Hmmmm, That's hard to answer. I kind of don't smell it. Kind of like a chihuahua puppy? Lol I didn't even smell it on our way home. And I would easily pick up on it saying I have a sensitive nose.

Took Kenya to the park today. She had a blast. She really let her excited cry out today. It was super cute. It's kind of funny when people ask me if she's a cat or dog. Or what kind of cat or dog is she. But then I do get people that actually know what she is. Ultimately, Kenya had a fun fill day.
