I'm not sure what they are called but they are like a cage and the door closes when you enter it.

I remember some of you liked my fox cushions on some of my photos and videos so I thought I would share these!

My better half got them for me the other day from BHS (British home stores). I would post the link but I cannot find them on their website.

Anyhow I love them but Akiko is a bit upset that they look nothing like her  .

SO redecorating the fennec bedroom and I cannot decide between these 2 wallpapers:

I will be putting the clear plexi glass back over it so Inari does not pee down it so hopefully it will last. I just feel like a change :icon-wink: .

The first one for sure! It'll look really neat when it's put up. I'd love to see pictures when its done.

Morocco it is!

I will post pics when I am done. My 1st project is Lyric's puppy room but I will write more about that on the dog forum :-).

But yes Morocco is now on order. Now to find where I can get sand that is more yellow then the sand in the fennec room currently so it will match.

We at Flashman foxes are proud to announce the birth of one litter of fennec kits to Inari and Barbie Flashman this morning with the first kit being born at 9am and the last at around 11:30am.
No idea how many at the moment but from the sounds of things mother and kits are doing well. Whole family group are working as one to assure the kits safety and that Barbie is well fed.

Will post more info when I know more!

Today was the very first time I was around to hear Barbie having the kits. It was quite interesting as I know this sounds dumb but I had no idea they screamed when giving birth! They do, just quietly. Inari was sent out from the den and told Kitsune and Gruffalo to stay away. He paced back and forth like the expectant Dad he was. He had this intense look on his face and every time he heard the kits he would go and check only to be sent away again until Barbie was done. When she had totally finished having the kits Inari went to work cleaning out their den. We had expected kits for a couple of weeks and so had stuffed den areas with this recycled paper pet bedding that is made for rodents and also with some nice soft stuff that looks like white cotton candy again a rodent pet bedding. It was mostly moist recycled paper bedding he pushed out with his nose.

Once all the bedding was sorted the family napped together with aunt and uncle outside on guard duty. When I say napped the kits were crying continuously which I would have freaked out and e-mailed Mandy about before but now that we are on our 3rd litter I know this is a good sign. After their nap Inari went to grab food for Barbie and I went to the store to get all of his supplies. When the kits have just been born Barbie eats an INSANE amount so we have kibble around as there is no way I can keep gizmo burgers out all day so I got her (as per every year) some 'yummy' high fat kitten kibble, her chi puppy kibble, some kitten milk, I was running low on worms so 5 packs of worms which should hopefully get her through today.

So yes anyhow fingers crossed she continues to be an amazing mother, Inari continues to be the worlds best fennec dad and that Gruffalo and Kitsune don't savage me when I return to feed them again in about 1h lol.
