Bukht Camel Hybrids

Postby Splashstorm » Sat Oct 06, 2012 1:55 pm

Bukhts are Dromedary x Bactrian camel hybrids. They're supposed to be bigger than either parents but apparently more susceptible to disease.

In any case, I scoured the internet for info and couldn't find much more than what I just provided above. lol. If anyone knows any more, I'd loooove to hear it!

:thank:

Camel hybrids are very common and don't seem any more prone to disease. They are at mt hope all the time.

They dont seem any bigger to me.
They also have one at the deer park by me. They mostly look like a furrier dromedary with a long hump :)
here is a good website with classifieds too. There is one hybrid for sale on there.
