I bought 2 llamas today

Postby cow-doc » Sat Jan 07, 2006 8:26 pm

Well, I bought two llamas today. One is 8 months old and the other is a year. They are both small, which I wanted, as I plan to do nursing home and special children work with them.

Attached is a pic of the young one. They can also be seen on http://www.elevensesllamas.com under "male llamas II." One is Takami and the other is Pollux and they are at the bottom of the page.

I board them until I graduate in May. I'm so excited :)

You have to go to the page and click on "male llamas II." the two I bought are at the bottom of that second page. They have their names and blurbs about them beside their pics. It also tells the origin of the names.

llamas inside or outside?>

Postby cow-doc » Sun Feb 04, 2007 11:38 pm

I got my llamas delivered today...finally. I had them in the barn a few hours, haltering them and feeding them. I let them out on pasture after that and they won't go into the barn now.

Wondering how often your llamas stay inside? Maybe they'll venture in there tomorrow....

my llamas usually stay in their house at night and when it is cold.
I have seen mine out in the rain, snow and cold. they don't seem to mind.

I always feel better when they are in their house at night or when it is cold. I know they have been there lately, because it has been really cold..
