My bunny - eye infection?

Postby FoxAdorer817 » Wed Apr 24, 2013 8:50 pm

Hey, everyone. :)
So, I just got home the other day, and it appears my rabbit has an eye infection. First it just looked like a weird shedding pattern, because it's almost summer so he's shedding a lot... but now it's more apparent that he is shedding like normal, but is tearing a bunch in his right eye and his face is all wet on that side and some fur is gone, or just dampened down.

Is there anything I can do for him without taking him to a vet?

Thanks in advance for any input. icon-smile

Go to a feed store and they sell eye cream "teramicine" or something like that for livestock. Works great and is what the vet will sell you at a huge markup.

Aren't feed stores just great like that?
