New and Blue

Postby minervasden » Wed May 21, 2014 2:15 am

I adopted a new Siamese this past weekend. I received permission for a third and final cat a couple months ago but as I have landlord restrictions (adult, altered, declawed) and personal requirements (Siamese) I just now brought one home.

The fosterer named her 'Misty' and she was found last December in poor condition at a Walmart. She's an attention lover and a talker of course. Do not know about other animals but we will find out in due course. Not expecting a problem.

I am not fond of the name and will most likely change it. I didn't know she was a blue point when I applied and the name I was going to use for my new seal point just isn't right in this case.

She is hard to get to stay still and away from my feet. Here's the kitty at rest:

@Alynn Thank you. I haven't thought about names yet. Guess I better name her tonight.
@ Ash Thank you. I hope she thinks so as well.

Lovely name for a really lovely cat. I'm partial to colorpoints myself. :)

A most unfortunate update-Shimmer has gone missing. Keeping this short as I do have other to do at the moment than type out a long story about my missing cat. Please spare a thought for her. Thank you.

Ahh, that's terrible.

Check with Petfinder, your county animal control, rescue groups within 50 miles, Craiglist,
and your local newspaper. Let your neighbors know also, sure hope she turns up. :(

New update-Shimmer is fine. Seems to have been a false alarm. I usually sleep afternoons and I was woken up and told she was missing. I live in a small house and every known part was searched. Guess I don't know my own home.
Sorry for making a post such as that prematurely. :red-face:
