Two Years With Scully

Postby hecate » Sat Aug 06, 2016 11:38 pm

As of today I have officially been taking exclusive care of Scully for two full years.

And now:

To borrow a term from us Greyhound people, Happy Gotcha Day (yes, she still officially belongs to the rehab group but state laws being what they are she probably won't be going anywhere for a long, long time, if ever).

She is cute. I never realized how small bobcats are. In the second photo, I thought she was some kind of domestic cat at first.

That's a 43" diameter pool and she weighs 30 pounds, at the high end of the size scale for wild-stock bobcats. Bobcats bred on fur farms are larger.

Northern bobcats can be larger than lynxes, so there is a huge variation in size even within the wild populations.

I'm happy to see she is doing well. :)))) I think she is so lucky to have you!
3 red fox, 4 pectinata iguanas, nile monitor, BW tegu, sailfin dragon, leachie gecko, 6 snakes, 2 salamanders, 3 tarantulas
