Bison?

Postby Farmboy » Sun Oct 26, 2008 7:24 pm

Anyone here ever owned a few bison? I am planning on getting a white male and a regular female from someone in Missouri. Will 6 acres be enough? can they get along with my aoudad goats? 8 ft chainlinc should suffice for fencing right?
Thanks,

My Uncle had a few bison some years back. He rotated the pasture and they lived in with his horses and cows. All he used with them was a electric cattle fence. It had to be a little stronger than usual though because of the thick fur on their chest.
