Stop assuming human evil

Postby TamanduaGirl » Fri Aug 11, 2017 10:08 pm

Example this looks like a bear did that, and yeah Malaysia has bears. *graphic* ... ods-t-1042
weird the link works in chrome but seems to not work in Firefox for me.

Another recent story a man finds a pig with mange and bring it to the shelter for help. Shelter turns around and says the man had have been the owner and neglected this animal cuz that's the only possible way it could happen. No wild/feral animals get bad mange all the time.

Just annoyed all animal rescue stories have also somehow be turned into humans are evil stories. Nah can't just the be guy wanted to help or the stray dog tangled with a bear.

Someone shared on FB a dog that needed urgent adoption, it was on death row and lined up for euthanasia. Go on that original post's comments and there are people upset and saying things like "ppl who euthanize these animals should b euthanized themselfs!!!"

How ignorant can you possibly be, to wish death upon shelter volunteers for euthanizing animals...?

I recently saw a video showing a man training a sun bear using positive reinforcement, and of the comments I saw, MAYBE one of them wasn't screaming "OMG ABUSE"

It was a short clip from this video posted to facebook.
Even the people who begrudgingly admitted he wasn't abusing him/her were like "omg it's so tiny, they must not feed her AT ALL and that must be the only food it gets EVARRRR"
Like... no. That man clearly has a relationship with that animal.
Not to mention, it's a sunbear. Not a polar bear.
