Question about Mt hope

Postby Yume_Kitsune » Thu Nov 15, 2012 5:44 pm

I know this sounds like a horrible combination lol, but what event do you think would have the best chance to see both a selection of foxes and fancy poultry chickens? A swap meet or the alt. animal and bird sale?

of course i'm interested in foxes and want to see them up close, but my little sister raises and shows fancy poultry.

There are usually a good selection of adult foxes at the auction, along with more poultry then you could ever have time to watch sell! The usual chickens are different bantams, cochin, red hens, some gamefowl, and the occational rare breed.
At the flea market in the spring you will certainly see plenty of baby foxes. There arent as many chickens as the auction, but still, plenty to choose from.

If she is looking for show winning birds your probably better off looking for private breeders or sites like featherauction.com have a lot of good show birds.

What other things do they typically have at the spring one? In terms of animals that aren't dogs and cats.
