I keep considering going, but the drive is fairly far for me. Let me know if anything especially interesting goes through.

I am going friday and saturday. saturday is usually has the most critters.
I can post friday to let you know what is there.

anything in particular you are looking for?

before the zanesville incident, there was always tons of foxes, raccoon and other exotic.
but, afterwards, many breeders must of stopped breeding or quit going to mt hope swap icon-sad

if you decide to go, I can PM you my phone number.

I doubt I'd be able to go due to the distance. I'm more curious as to what "big" exotics show up, to see if it'd be worth my time in the future. I'd be curious if you saw any young emus, though.

Thank you ahead of time. The idea that not much might be there (and that it might not be much different than Topeka or wolflake) is the main reason I've not shown up, admittedly.

usually, not many big exotics there.

not often I see young emus there either... I have been looking for young emus for the couple years,
and can't find any icon-sad

last couple years, I usually seen a lot of dogs, and poultry. some raccoons, and very little foxes.
before the zanesville, there use to be tons of foxes...

but, will let you know what is there..

what state do you live in? guess you must be pretty far from mt hope.

I am leaving may 14 and spending a few days in berlin ohio.... that is my well-deserved vacation and R&R time.

I'm 99.9% sure that I will not get to go :( It's been so long since I've been able to attend an auction or swap (last appearance May 2010) that I can barely remember them. Or so it seems. Hope to get to one this ear even if I cannot buy.

minervasden,

well there is still a .1% you will go  let me know if you change your mind..

can't remember what has changed animal wise, since 2010. I can remember when there were lots of different exotic animals.
not the case anymore icon-sad

Mt. Hope's flockswap sounds about the same as Wolflake here. I usually see foxes/llamas/alpacas/miniature cattle/raccoons/skunks and a few other "minor" exotics, but nothing big. I imagine I won't see them anymore either, as the restrictions in the county are getting stricter.

Still, curious to know if you see any. I usually see some at Topeka's auction, but they go for more than I'm accustom to paying. When I used to see them in Texas/the South, they were so much cheaper - and it may of been years since I've moved from there, but I still get sticker shock!

But I miss mine so much, maybe one day I'll just pay that, haha.

I'm located in SW Indiana currently, so it is a bit of a drive, especially with no one to watch my animals.
