So, while looking on Exotic Animals for Sale for Red Ruffed Lemurs, I discovered something called a Tri Color Ruff Lemur being sold. I couldn't find any info about the species on Wikipedia. Are these by any chance Red Ruffed x Black and White Ruffed hybrid animals being sold by the breeder? If they are hybrids, then does that mean they can cross state lines since they aren't a pure lemur species? Sadly, they aren't as pretty as the pure Red Ruffed's but they are prettier than the Black and White Ruffeds and the Ringtails in my opinion atleast.

These last ones say that they are hybrids because it says the dad was a Black and White Ruffed Lemur and the mom is a Tri Color Ruffed Lemur (whatever that is):

Yes the tri-collored ruffed are hybrids of red ruffed and black and white.
Yes hybrids can cross state lines.

Re: Tri Color Ruff Lemurs?
I'm happy to see someone is breeding hybrids! I wondered about that a few years ago, but didn't think anyone was breeding them. So it's great to see they are available for those looking for a lemur in a state where there aren't any. Thanks for posting that.
