I have found that it isn't an animals duty to learn and understand us, but our duty to learn about , accept them, for what they are, after all that is why you must have chosen the animal that you did, and totally commit one's self , sacrificing of yourself with no regrets.

I have a little marmoset, and she is 3 yrs old. She never ceases to amaze me when I look into her little face.....it is almost the same as the larger species, but just in a very t iny version. congrats to you and your soon to be baby marms !

Hi Dreamcatcher, love the quote by the way, words to live by. I have cared for marmosets in a zoological setting, was contemplating owning one as a pet since the rules of owning exotics are getting way out of hand and the more permits I have the better.

Primates are social, how much time do you have to devote to yours? I work a full-time job and have many other critters to care for when I get home, so I was wondering if this might be a good choice for me.
